Both Tanushree Dutta and Udita Goswami are the sex kittens of our tinsel town and it is but obvious that stirs will be created when they appear together for the first time in a flick. The movie we are talking about is titled ‘Rokkk’ and is a horror movie that deals with supernatural element related incidents. The movie is produced by Icon Films and its producers are Krishn Chowdhary, Sumit Seghal and Vipin Jain. ‘Rokkk’ is directed by Rajesh Ransinghe (of ‘Sshh… Koi Hai’, ‘Aahat’ and ‘CID’ fame).

Udita and Tanushree will be seen as sisters in the movie and both of very are quite excited as the project is very different from the roles they have done before. This film is actor Sumit Seghal’s debut production venture. He states that the movie is based on real-life supernatural incidents and he has undergone through similar experiences.

Apart from Tanushree and Udita, the film stars Shaad Randhava, Sachin Khedekar, Ashwini Kalsakar, Priti Sharma, Nishi Ghanda Wad, Murli Sharma and Arif Jakriya.

It is no great surprise that Aishwarya Rai is recognized as the world’s one of the most beautiful woman. She is even acknowledged as an international star too.

This gorgeous lady has already been to Oprah’s show in 2007 but this year her husband Abhishek Bachchan accompanied her to the show since he too was invited. According to reports the couple had flown to the States last week to shoot for an episode on Oprah.

Aishwarya was her usual diplomatic self when she had come for the show in 2007. This time it remains to be seen which facet of her personality she will expose. Many big actors have opened their hearts out like Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman etc on Oprah Winfrey’s show.

Petite and delicate beauty Amrita Rao has had an old connection with cricket. She was seen opposite Harman Baweja in the cricket-based film, ‘Victory’ last year. Rumours have it that her forthcoming comedy ‘Hook Ya Crook’ will feature Indian cricket captain Mahnedra Singh Dhoni. In keeping with her association with this game, she was seen along with Harbhajan Singh at a promotional event for a sports channel.

Newcomer Sonam Kapoor has played a simple and homely girl in both her flicks, ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Delhi 6’. For a change, Sonam will be seen in an ultra-modern chic in the desi version of Jane Austen’s Emma – Aisha produced by father Anil Kapoor and written down by Devika (of Bachna Ae Haseeno fame).

Sonam will be wooed by three guys in the flick – Abhay Deol, Arunoday and Cyrus Sahukar. Abhay Deol plays the male lead as the one who is Ayesha’s worst critic as well as the one who secretly loves and cares for her. Newcomer Arunodoy Singh gets the role of an amiable young flirtatious man whom Ayesha adores and pursues. And VJ Cyrus Sahukar will appear as a guy who wants to marry Ayesha. Anil himself will supposedly play the role of Ayesha’s father – a person who’s a hypochondriac highly concerned about the health and safety of his loved ones.

Priyanka Chopra has worked very hard for her forthcoming flick ‘Whats Your Raashee?’ and so it does not come as surprise as she waits with baited breath for the film to hit the screens. Fir the first time in Indian cinema a female star will be playing 12 different roles. Directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar, the movie is an adaptation of the US based Gujarati writer Madhu Rye’s novel Kimball Ravenswood.

The story of the film revolves round Yogesh Patel (Harman Baweja) who always wanted to have love marriage, but must find his life partner within ten days to save his family from a disaster. So, he decides to meet one girl from each raashee – sun sign, so that he will get twelve chances to fall in love. He decides to meet 2 girls in a day. Thus getting him six days to meet them, three days to make a final decision and he can get married on the tenth day.

Priyanka Chopra plays twelve different from twelve zodiac signs named Anjali, Vishakha, Kajal, Hansa, Mallika, Pooja, Rajni, Nandini, Bhavna, Jhankhana, Sanjna, Chandrika respective of zodiac sign. Check out Piggy Chops in12 new dazzling avatars.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the brand ambassador of Swiss watch maker Longines. She was recently in Hyderabad to launch Conquest Ceramic series watches from the brand. She looked million dollars in her black female suit with a perfect business woman look. She cleared a lot of rumors about herself at the event saying that she wasn’t down with Swine Flu and that Abhishek Bachchan is not getting a tattoo of her name inked on his arm. Minissha Lamba scorched the screens with her dare-bare act in ‘Kidnap’ and immediately after that she gave some hot clicks for Maxim. But little do her fans know that Minissha’s mother is an avid painter and has been into painting for over 2 years now. Minissha has some 25 paintings of her mother adorning her house. These paintings range from beautiful sceneries to psychedelics. Minissha adores these paintings so much that she recently turned down a lucrative offer made by a gentleman to buy one of these paintings.

Minissha reveals, “Our entire house is packed with her work. A lot of my friends have asked her to hold an exhibition, but she doesn’t take them seriously. Recently, a man landed up at our doorstep expressing interest in one of mom’s painting titled Glorious Elements. Later, he revealed that he had seen the painting on a friend’s camera phone and he got the address from him and wanted to buy the painting.”

After this incident, Minissha has now advised her mother to hold an exhibition. “I think she needs to showcase her work. We are working on the formalities and plan to hold the exhibition sometime soon. I like the fact that people across all age groups love her work.”

This sure assures us of the actress’ arty connection.

The duo was seen as special guests on the grand finale of the reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ on 22nd August on Colors. Shahid awarded the trophy to The Prince Dance group who was declared the winner of this reality show after several relatives and friends of the group, apart from state Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, corporate houses and social activists joined hands to vote en masse for them. They got a staggering Rs.50 lakhs (Rs.5 million) in cash and a swish newly-launched Maruti Suzuki Ritz car as the reward. The group, comprising 26 artistes, all below 22 years of age, spellbound everyone with their act, which was based on episodes from the Mahabharata.

The episode saw Shahid and Rani enjoying the performances and bonding well with the judges Sonali Bendre, Kirron Kher and filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor.

Held on August 19, 2009, the 12th Rajiv Gandhi Awards saw some glittering celebrities make their presence felt and some top Bollywood stars rock the stage with their sizzling performance. Katrina Kaif and Shahid Kapoor were awarded with trophies in the best actor and actress category. The awards function was organized by the youth wing of the ruling Congress party to celebrate the talent of India’s young achievers. The performers who rocked the stage included Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Esha Deol and so on.

Yes, Amrita Rao is finally on Facebook and she tells us why she joined the social networking site. “Although I am a gadget freak and I am very much technology friendly, I never felt the need of being present on social networking sites such as Facebook, Orkut and Twitter until recently. However much to my amusement, I used to receive phone calls from friends and fans who used to tell me shocking things like loved your new status, who is the new man in your life. Finally a very close friend of mine who is fashion designer told me that there was a notorious Amrita D. Rao on Facebook was playing cheap pranks on the social networking site and appeared to be original in nature. She had apparently added all my close media friends as well as fans. In fact there was a nasty rumour late last year when all my fans and family thought I was to marry a prince who was somehow related to Dr. Vijay Mallya. Strange how the fake Amrita got the entire world to believe this utter piece of rubbish through Facebook.
